Hezekiah Alexander House - "The Rock House"
The Hezekiah Alexander House was built in 1774 and is the oldest stone house in Mecklenburg County, NC. The home has been preserved and restored by several local chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution. This house is in the style built by Germans in Pennsylvania and the Dutch of the Hudson Valley. Many of the Germans who moved to North Carolina brought this style of architecture with them.

Another Mason Mark
This building was built over a cool spring and was available to all who passed on the road beside it. Travelers could water their animals and come inside for sundries.
The Hugh Torance House and Store
Hugh is a Revolutionary War Veteran and his home and store are the oldest surviving structures in Mecklenburg County that date to the 1770's. The store operated until 1825.
