Plimouth Plantation - Massachusetts

A replica of the Mayflower ship it is actually pretty small considering it held over 100 people along with cargo, food and other wares

The actual Plymouth Rock where the Pilgrims stepped on to as they came ashore, however there is much debate and discussion surrounding the truth of it. But, some myths are better kept alive than shattered. :)

Me on a miserable hot day

There was a really nice picture of the "city on the hill" here. However, if you hit a wrong button, all the pictures disappear and now I can't find a replacement for this one. As soon as I can, you know I will

another shot of Plymouth from the back side

Looking down toward the river as you are on the Main Street

A Pilgrim Settler

Typical backyards and gardens

Don't mind my finger, but a small backyard with goats

My finger again :D and small gardens. You are on top of your neighbors

These three men really called me out on my attire. They really called me some disparaging names and told me I needed to locked up in the city jail! I think they said I needed flogging for dressing as a wench.

In the Pilgrim cemetery

Another shot in the Pilgrim Cemetery, many stones were dated in to the 1600's

In the cemetery looking down the hill towards the village and the river

Other "pilgrims" who are buried there
